"a circular symbol of a snake or dragon devouring its tail, standing for infinity or wholeness"
ENVY- The Sin of feeling a grudging admiration and desire to have something possessed by another. He is one of the oldest
Homunculus created. He tends to be the hard-ass of all the Homunculi. He's cruel, heartless, and loves to see others suffer.
Envy gets angered especially when the name Elric is mentioned. Envy plays the executioner a lot throughout the series. He
is able to do this due to his Homunculus ability to shape-shift. He has the ability to become a perfect physical replica of
whomever he or she desires. And he is without gender. In fact, Envy's mind is so far gone that he can't remember who he used
to be. Envy's power truly is amazing and he has no intention of becoming human. The tattoo of the Oruboros is on his upper
WRATH- The Sin of punishment or vengeance as a manifestation of anger. He is a Homunculus who actually thought he was human
for a while. He is the only Homunculi that can do alchemy. Wrath discovered his true nature from Envy during a south headquarters
assault. Envy had given some of the incomplete Philosopher's Stone to Wrath and manipulated him. Wrath is now desperate to
get all of Edward Elric's body, thinking he will become human. Wrath also gets a bit psychotic whenever the issue of his mother
is brought up. Wrath despises his real mother and truly thinks that Sloth is his mother. He is hateful and very ruthless indeed.
The tattoo of the Oruborus is on the bottom of his foot.
SLOTH- The sin of avoidance of physical or spiritual work. Sloth is amorphous. Her body is composed entirely of fluid, though
she can assume the shape of Trisha Elric (her physical form) easily enough. Still, being entirely water, her body can flow
itself as needed. She's shown that she can suffocate people by intruding herself into their airways, and she managed to incapacitate
an angry Wrath by enveloping him with her water-like body: (The fact that Sloth was once Trisha Elric has an odd effect on
Wrath--probably because he has the arm and leg Ed gave up three years ago). Being composed entirely of fluid, she is most
powerful when she is in the water, able to move at incredible speeds as well as maneuver the water itself to her own ends.
She has the desire to become completely human and will stop at nothing to obtain her wish. The tattoo of the Oruborus is underneath
her left shoulder.
LUST- The Sin of self-indulgent or a great desire. Lust uses any means necessary to accomplish her goals. She is able to corrupt
the minds of the weak, forcing them to follow her every desire. She desires one thing: the power of the Philosopher's Stone.
With it, Lust hopes to become completely human. Only time will tell if she fulfils her goal. But even so, will becoming completely
human truly satisfy all her desires? The tattoo of the Oruborus is on her chest
GREED- The sin of excessive desire to acquire or possess more (especially material wealth) than one needs or deserves. His
special power is to be able to create a shield from the carbon in his blood/body. His only desire is to gain as much as he
can as long as it satisfies him. He does not care to become human. And he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. The tattoo
of the Oruborus is on his left hand.
GLUTTONY- The Sin of overindulgence (food, drink or intoxicants), the misplaced desire for food for its sensuality, or the
withholding of food from the needy. Gluttony's appetite is voracious. Too bad for his victims is the fact that only one thing
satisfies it, if only for a moment. Gluttony appears to gain nothing in the way of physical strength or power by consuming
other living beings. No matter how much he eats, his appetite is never fulfilled. He simply knows one thing: Hunger. Not for
power or prestige, but rather simply to satisfy his reason to be, which only adds to his tragic existence. He has the mind
of a child and clings to Lust and obeys only her. The tattoo of the Oruboros is on his tongue.
PRIDE- The sin of unreasonable and inordinate self-esteem. He is in fact, Fuhrer King Bradely, head of the military. He acts
kindly to others, but has a very deceptive nature and, deep inside, he is quite cruel. He is also a Homunculus. He has a patch
over his eye that hides the Oroborus on it. Using his ultimate eye, he can predict anything that will happen. Pride is also
the only Homunculus ever created with the ability to age. His creator considers him to be a masterpiece
